In our morning circle, we did some finger play and studied the names of each finger by singing, "Where is Thumbkin?" For our exercise, we played a Stop Dance game. When they are all warmed up, we then studied how to read three-letter words to continue our lesson yesterday. The children are very smart. They are already familiar with the mechanics and could read the word by enunciating every letter sound. Well done, kids!
It's drizzling outside, so we stayed indoors and played with blocks, slides, jump blocks, trains and their toys. Knowing the rules, they are the ones who remind their classmates about it when they forget them.
