5歳児遠足

Today we are going to Enoshima aquarium!!!

We are leaving Chofu station.
行ってきます!!!

We met our friends from Child Land.

We had to change the train many times, but it was fun!
At the train we could talk and get to know each other better.

Finally we are at Katase-Enoshima station!!!

A man showed us a starfish!

Finally we are at the aquarium!
楽しみ!!!

We are looking forward to a great show!!!
What are they going to show us?
We didn`t know that sea lions can play soccer and...

....say "Hi"!
"Hello Mr. Sea Lion!!!

Wow! What`s that? A whale? Can`t believe!
The wale is so big!!!

We were really impressed with the dolphins!

After the show everyone got hungry and opened their luch boxes.

Look at this lunch! Isn`t it amazing?
Everyone wanted to take a picture of this "piece of art"!

"Yummy!!! Thank you, Mommy!!"

After the lunch we continued our tour at the aquarium.

"I`ve never seen this kind of fish before!"

We felt like we were at the bottom of the sea!

Next we went to watch jelly fish show!!!!

They are so beautiful!

We could see some tiny fish!

... and touch a starfish!

Look at this turtle! It`s huge!!!

We had a great day!!!

Let`s grow some tomatoes!!!

Let`s grow some tomatoes and learn
about how to grow a tomato plant!

We started with a talk about tomatoes and found the answers to some questions:
"What colour are they?" "What shape are they?"
"How do you grow them?"

Then we colored our cups for the tomatoes.

Then we poked a few holes so excess water can drain out...

... filled the pots to the top with potting soil and....

...put tomato seeds in each pot,
pushing them just under the surface of the soil.

In two weeks.....

We water our tomatoes every day!!!
We are really looking forward to seeing our tomatoes grow!

Our first Hula dance lesson

We started our Hula dance lessons!

Our teacher explained us what Hula is and
showed us how to dance.

The teacher showed us basic steps and arm movements.

     Your arms and
    hands express
        the story
         behind
       the dance!

Follow your hand and arm movements
                                    with your eyes and smile!

Now, let`s combine arm and hand movements with hip and feet movements for a true Hula dance!
